The pictures are self speaking. We need not to say any more about worst situation of the PO. Can you say that our SPM and his family can reside in such quarter?
The Land lord has already given a notice to the department that the building is very old one and in dangerous condition. It is likely that it may collapse at any time and in such situation the department will be responsible for any unexpected calamity.
The department draws monthly rent of this building @ Rs.110 and the Land Lord is not accepting it. The department is not drawing HRA to SPM which is Rs.1340 per month! Payment of Rs.110 and recovery of Rs.1340! More over, the SPM has to hire another house for his family and make payment of rent. What a justice!
We all are very much eager and serious for contributing our best efforts to enhance revenue of the department and achieving targets but this is also a very important back side and black shadows which depresses employees.
There are so many similar PO buildings and SPMs quarters in other divisions. We have feedback of Valsad and Bardoli division. The issue has been taken up with concerned PMGs. We invite photographs of any similar pictures from any division with brief detail.

Many such Ranpur POs are there in India. Even now the buerocrats in the DOP are boosting that the dept is spending much for renovation of buildings. the result ? Actually they are renovated. Atleast this is the time to react now. please give vide publicity of such POs in media, TV news channels frequently. We shall hope for the better future. Save India post from buerocrats.
