Circle Secretary's visit to Daman, Valsad & Navsari Division

Circle Secretary visited Daman and met union members and all the Postal employees with Com. Bhikha Bhai Patel SPM Daman IE,our active member on 29-11-2010. Staff has no major problems here except delay in getting MACP.

C/S also visited Killa Pardi SO and Valsad HO on 30-11-2010 and met staff. Fortunately monthly meeting of Divisional union was also scheduled on the day. As such C/S could attend the meeting with Com. S M Patel Divisional Secretary. Other Com. N D Solanki, Com G V Patel &Com. B D Patel were also present. It was very nice to experience co-operative and friendly approach of Shri A D Patel SSPO’s Valsad towards staff welfare. He is straight forward and fast decision making officer. Circle Secretary thanked the officer for his co operative approach to staff issues.

Though it was very late in reaching Navsari HO, our members remain present till late evening and a very nice get to gather meeting was held at Navsari HO. Com. Kanti Bhai Tailor, Divisional Secretary and his team is working so effectively that it sets example to other divisions also. The C/S heard common problems of staff and assured for appropriate representation by Circle Union.

The tour of C/S was fruitful but incomplete because it is required to visit all big PO’s with Divisional representative. This time he could not visit Vapi PO due to tight time schedule. It is hopeful that Circle office bearers of PIII & PIV will finalize joint tour peogramme of these divisions in south Gujarat in February 2011.
