<!--[if !supportLists]-->v <!--[endif]-->Two more chances to appear LGO exam for those exhausted six chances – instead of two more chances, the file has been placed for enhancement of six chances to eight chances. Since the explained the urgency for its implementation in the notified LGO exam, it is assured to released the orders before the end of this month.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->v <!--[endif]-->Revised Recruitment Rules for Postal Assistants – As per the RR 2002, there are 49 Categories eligible to appear the exam and most of the categories are not in existence. Now the existence of the category is being processed and the recruitment rules will be finalized.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->(i) All the outsider candidates secured 60% marks will be allowed to appear the PA recruitment examination.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->(ii) <!--[endif]-->Unfilled LGO vacancies will be thrown open to GDS without any mark condition.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->v <!--[endif]-->Revised Recruitment Rules for HSG I – The Staff Selection Commission have raised some queries which have been replied. It is expected that the HSG I Recruitment Rules will be returned from SSC within a week or fortnight, 100% HSG I posts for general line has been already incorporated in the revised recruitment rules.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->v <!--[endif]-->Director (SR) told that he is processing the case of allotment of staff quarter with reference to old orders related to post attached quarters and will finalise the shortly.
In respect of other issues, we could not take follow up action today and will process further after returning from Lucknow Federal Executive (i.e.) on 28.07.2011.

FOUR MONTHLY MEETING WITH CHIEF POSTMASTER GENERAL GUJARAT CIRCLE TO BE HELD ON 28.07.11

Four monthly meeting will be held on 28th July, 2011 with the CPMG Gujarat Circle.
Details regarding items of Agenda and other matter informally discussed with the administration will be posted later on.

ABOUT BIMONTHLY MEETING WITH POSTMASTER GENERAL VADODARA REGION HELD ON 25.07.2011

Bimonthly meeting of Vadodara region was held on 25th July, 2011 in the Conference Hall at the Office of the Postmaster Gereral, Vadodare region.

Lt.Col. D.K.S.Chauhan PMG and Ms. Sucheta Joshi DPS were present from the official side. Our Divisional Secretaries in Vadodara Com.Subhash Patel and Com. Rathod also attended to assist C/S. All representatives from RMS wing were also present from the staff side.

We uttered our warm welcome to new DPS in Vadodara region and in Gujarat Circle and expressed our full support to each and every constructive step of administration aimed to boost up quality of Postal Services and augment multiple dimensions of business development in Gujarat Circle.

During the meeting following matters were discussed:

CONDEMNATION OF OLD COMPUTERS/PRINTERS AND SUPPLY OF NEW ONE. SUPPLY OF HIGH SPEED LINE PRINTERS TO ELIGIBLE OFFICES.

It was assured by the PMG to cause process of condemnation of old Computers and Printers so that it can be replaced by new one.

DIFFICULTIES OF FEMALE SUB POSTMASTERS IN THE EVENT OF COMPULSORY STAY UPTO LATE EVENING IN OFFICE FOR SUBMISSION OF REPORT DELAYED DUE TO POWER SUPPLY FAILURE.

There were some representations from Navsari division in the matter. We expressed that it is obvious that reports have to be submitted before offices are closed but if there is failure of power supply from evening and it is not restored even late, particularly female employees have to face unbearable difficulties. We suggested to ensure appropriate battery support or supply of Generator sets to the offices where problems of power supply failure are frequent. Hon.PMG also suggested that such SPMs can use pen drive and submit reports from other spots. In the end, this point was noted by the DPS and it is anticipated that some solution would come out.

CLEARANCE OF MACP IN VALSAD DIVISION

First of all, we expressed our gratefulness to Hon.PMG for settlement of MACP related problems in Vadodara region. It was conveyed that now only Valsad division is lacking behind. It was assured that the matter will be expedited. On the next day when C/S talked with SSPO Valsad, it was informed that due to retirement of one Sr.Postmaster, he has cannot manage for a member for committee for convening meeting for the purpose. C/S telephonically brought the matter to the notice of the Hon. PMG, he settled the problem on the spot and now the meeting will be held on 28.07.11 for clearance of MACP cases of Valsad division.

We also requested Hon.PMG to reconsider transfer case of Com.C.D.Thakor D/S who has been posted out of his division as SPM Race Course by modification of his earlier transfer order as Dy.PM Vadodara HO.

IN THE NEXT MEETING:

Divisional Secretaries should provide adequate feed back with names of offices etc complete details so far as items like poor working condition of Computers/printers, Problems due to poor condition of buildings, maintenance of colonies, requirement of Clean and Cold drinking water, need of furniture etc are concerned. C/S can not take items hypothetically on general information. Full details should be provided.
