A SUPERB FAREWEL TO COM.K.K.PAREKH PRESIDENT AIPEU GROUP "C" AHMEDABAD CITY DIVISION

Com.K.K.Parekh, one of the senior most trade union leaders of Gujarat Circle, ideal and matured leader retired from service on 31st May, 2011. He is one who is like a light house for others.

A wonderful farewell function was held on 31.5.11 at Ahmedabad in an air conditioned meeting hall. Shri. J.M.Joshi APMG (Staff) C.O. Ahmedabad, Shri.Pavankumar Dalmiya SSPO Ahmedabad City Division, Shri.P.C.Bhatt and Shri. R.K.Chauhan both Assistant Directors of C.O. Ahmedabad and other officers remained present in the function, delivered their speeches and in one voice said that Com. K.K.Parekh is a beautiful character and he has always positioned himself as a bridge between staff and management.

The function was also attended by many dignitaries of Ahmedabad- doctors, professors, retired postal colleagues and social organizations.

Divisional/Circle Secretaries of AIPEU and NAPE both unions also remained present and it was so nice to hear every one about Com.K.K.Parekh who was friend, philosopher and guide of all.

About 150 Staff members’ besides family and relatives of Com.Parekh really enjoyed and participated the glorious farewell function.

Com.Rashmin Purohit C/S described this function as a workshop for learnig how to win peoples heart and acquire platonic love.


RISE UP..UNITE..BE PREPARED..FOLLOW JCA DIRECTIONS..

All Divisional Secretaries are requested to inform D/S of P.IV, GDS unions and also D/S of NAPE regarding change of date of Joint Convention. Similarly when a meeting hall will be booked finally on 6th June, the information will be provided through SMS and this blog which should be conveyed to all unions of your division. Please make it sure and confirm that all divisions have formed divisional JCA and if at all there is any difficulty, C/S should be informed. As already guided through a circular of Circle JCA (in Gujarati language) under signature of all C/S, information about Divisional JCA must be given without any reminder. If any D/S are till resting in peace, it is requested to rise up, act in response to communication/directives of Circle Union/CHQ and be totally organised for indefinite Strike commencing from 5th July.

Have you prepared a Circular in Gujarati language on the basis of Circular of Circle JCA and circulated in your division?

If not, please immediately do it because all members must be aware about agitation programs and Charter of Demands.

This is our primary responsibility.


The Circular should be signed by all Divisional Secretaries of NFPE/GDS/NAPE unions. A copy of Circular should be sent to Circle Union.

CENTRAL JOINT COUNCIL OF ACTION DECIDES


TO SERVE STRIKE NOTICE ON 14TH JUNE 2011

INDEFINITE STRIKE WILL COMMENCE FROM 5TH JULY 2011

The Central JCA comprising NFPE, FNPO and GDS Unions has decided to serve the notice for the Indefinite strike to Secretary, Department of Posts, on 14th June 2011. The Indefinite Strike will commence on 5th July 2011. Copy of the strike notice will served to all Chief PMGs, PMGs and Divisional Superintendents after conducting massive demonstrations. All are requested to make the programme a grand success. Copy of the strike notice will be exhibited on 6th June in all the Websites. Central JCA leaders are meeting at Delhi on 06.06.2011 at 11:00 AM

ATTENTION OF BRANCH/DIVISIONAL SECRETARIES


Some of our comrades are informing that their divisional Secretaries of FNPO unions stating that they are not in receipt of any informations from their higher ups in conduct of programmes & convention.

In fact Com. D. Kishanrao, General Secretary, NUPE Group ‘C’ has published all materials about the programme of action and the need of the strike in his monthly journal ‘Postal Sentinel’ – April & may 2011 issue.

If any branch Secretary informed further about any non receipt, our divisional Secretaries are requested to download the enclosure and hand it over them to form JCA and further successful conduct of programme.

Remember! Strike is inevitable. Unity is the need of the hour. Let all should unite and conduct the programmes jointly and successfully to save the Postal.
