LETTERS WRITTEN TO ADMINISTRATION

No.ROVDR/Bharuch/2011                                                                                   Dated; 01.12.2011

To,
Hon. Postmaster General
Vadodara region,
Vadodara 390 001

Subject:
Request for review of excessive approach of SPO Bharuch Dn. In dealing with staff issues.

Hon. Sir,
It has been brought to our notice that in the very short period of less than last six months, approximately 50 charge sheets have been issued to various officials by SPO Bharuch. After resumption of new ASP (HQ) the number of Charge sheets has been surprisingly increased, as murmured by most of the members when Circle Secretary communicated with them.

I understand that individuals have to prefer appeals before competent authority as per rule but in this case issue of huge number of C/S in short period is more than total number of such cases in last ten years and for that reason necessitates special intervention to save staff from such harshness.

It is also informed that the present SPO Bharuch has not sanctioned even a single MR Claim since he took over charge here! This is also incredible! Huge number of claims is pending for sanction.

It is requested to probe into the matter at an early date and cause remedial action.

A line in reply about action taken is solicited.

With earnest regards,

Yours sincerely

RASHMIN PUROHIT
Circle secretary

No.ROVDR/suspension/2011                                                                                   Dated; 01.12.2011

To,
Hon. Postmaster General
Vadodara region,
Vadodara 390 001

Subject:
Request for review of cases to revoke suspended employees.

Hon. Sir,
There are so many officials under suspension in Vadodara region. Staff side never intends to interfere into investigation and subsequent action in connection with any fraud case but it is our sentiment that there may be few suspended employees whose suspension could be revoked as done in cases of suspension at Ahmedabad GPO in connection with a fraud case.

If it is possible to review and take action for revoking suspended officials, it will also provide useful manpower at operative offices. Expenditure on payment of subsistence allowance is also unproductive. Services of such employees can be used anywhere even in the field in marketing of our products/business.

Kindly take a look at the matter.

A line in reply about action taken is solicited.

With earnest regards,

Yours sincerely

No.ROVDR/Valsad/2011                                                                                   Dated; 01.12.2011

To,
Hon. Postmaster General
Vadodara region,
Vadodara 390 001

Subject:
Urge for review of pending cases for MACP at Valsad division.

Hon. Sir,
Staff side is very much thankful for clearing huge number of pending cases of MACP in Vadodara region generally and at Valsad division particularly.

As conveyed to us, more than 25 officials at Valsad division are still awaiting their MACP. They have no adverse entry in earlier ACRs. They have already submitted representation for upgradation of remarks of ‘average’ as ‘good’. For any reason they are not getting MACP at par with other similarly situated officials.

We have advised each one to prefer an appeal before your honour.

We urge for up gradation of remarks of ‘average’ as ‘good’ and early settlement of pending cases.

Kindly look in to the matter.

With earnest regards,

Yours sincerely
