Bimonthly meeting of Rajkot region will be held at the office of the Postmaster General Rajkot region on 15th June,2011 at 12:30 hrs.
New items for agenda of this meeting are to be furnished before 31.5.11.
Besides old pending items, some new items will be given as under:
Appointment of AMA at bhavnagar and other divisions in Rajkot region: There is no AMA at Bhavnagar and there is a proposal for some AMA has been rejected by R.O. We request reconsideration. In other divisions like Junagadh also there is no AMA. Our staff members face difficulty because of this position. It is requested to call for proposals and approve which are already received.
Continuing services of Contingency Paid water man in consideration of non supply/poor supply/irregular supply of water in municipal pipe lines.: It has come to our notice that there are some orders for relieving waterman where pipelines of water supply are provided. In this matter, it is very important to consider that supply of water is not regular or adequate and in appropriate time at various places. More over there are also cut in water supplly at various places. These factors are required to be considered and as such services of waterman may be continued as usual.
